Arts and Crafts hammered copper coal box. It is square with a concave shape with oversized lid. Raised pattern on front and back of the box and the pattern repeats on the lid. The lid does not fit flush on two sides due to the inner corners being flattened outwards with use, they may be able to be knocked back into shape. The coal box has original patina and has not been cleaned. There are a few dinks on the lid. Riveted corners. The box measures 32 cm square x 35 cm tall to top of lid. The lid is 39 cm square
